RTOS Application

The Bmbed RTOS application is a simple software framework. It is used as base for a customer specific embedded software which runs on a real time operating system. It includes all useful Bmbed functions for all Bmbed supported microcontrollers:

RTOS application (TI SysBios or Keil RTOS)
Different prioritized tasks (or threads) which communicate through mailboxes.
Bmbed network access with BmbedChat, BmbedTalk or BmbedConnect.
Different "bare-metal" drivers for GPIOs and interfaces.
Task implementations for internal temperature measurement with ADC, LEDs, buttons.
Functions for persistent data storage with internal FLASH.
Debug messages for the Bmbed network.

Development project for the according microcontroller and IDE.

Overview

Memory Mapping

All three Bmbed parts are located in separated areas of the microcontroller FLASH memory. Bootloader and main application hold their own interrupt vectors for an independent execution.
